Villar Chickened Out Once More - No Show At The Senate Today!

Hiding under the lame excuse that the Senate Committee Report on the controversial C5 Extension Project is merely politically motivated to smear his reputation and derail his presidential bid, Villar did a no-show at the senate today. Instead his party mates took the cudgels of defending him by arguing that the senate inquiry was just meant to unjustly crucify him and derail his campaign. With hardly six session days left, we may not see the truth behind these accusations!  (Most probably, this is Villar's intended game plan!)



It must be recalled, that he had previously defiantly snubbed the committee hearings on the C5 Extension projects, choosing instead to pay good money for media coverage where he laid out his excuses and explanations - outside the senate floor and in front of television cameras. Villar is doing a GMA stunt! Villar is mimicking Arroyo! He is, God forbid, an Arroyo clone! And, his lap dogs at the senate floor are doing all they can to protect him the same way Arroyo's lap dogs in congress has been protecting her for the past 9 years!

Dwight Eisenhower once said "The supreme quality for leadership is unquestionable integrity. Without it, no real success is possible!"  If Villar is going to be a speck truthful with his promises on his campaign ads, then he should face his accusers on the senate floor and re-butt point by point every issue in that senate committee report (unless he is hiding the truth!). But ahh, I guess he does not have the balls to do it. I guess he does not have the same courage ERAP Estrada had when he valiantly faced his accusers during his impeachment hearing. Villar prefers to be another Gloria Arroyo who'd rather leave the task of  hoodwinking the public into believing his peddled lies to his paid political propagandists. Well, with billions in his campaign kitty, he can very well afford the best lie-peddlers and image makers in the industry. (Besides, Villar appears to be GMA's real candidate for this election.)
