Finally! I Got My Entrecard CashOut.

After months of anxiously waiting and wondering whether I will really get to cash out my Entrecard credits, I finally received an email from Paypal informing me that the amount of $10 has been tranferred to my account from Entrecard. I've been reading posts from several entrecarders complaining about not yet receiving their cash outs but I did come across several bloggers who claimed they have received theirs. I originally cashed out 20,000 credits and after noticing that the amounts that were successfully cashed out were mostly of lower amounts, I decided to lower my cashout to 10,000 credits. True enough, I received my cash out after two weeks. My advice to Entrecarders, do not cash out more than 10,000 credits... it might take you a lifetime to see it true.

IF IT'S CARS, IT MUST BE THE CAR CONNECTION DOT COM

Using the internet to search for something you need before going out shopping or making a purchase saves you time and money. You will know exactly what you need and where to go even before you drive out of your garage door. Unfortunately, you can get lost surfing the net while making your searches. What one normally does is to Google his searches. But, alas, this too can also be  frustrating. When you want to buy a car for example, or simply want to be updated on the latest and forthcoming coming car models and features, and you Google your searches, you'd be swamped with a result listing millions of pages without any clue on where to go or where to start. And, with more and more online businesses hiring and paying for Search Engine Optimization services just to land on the first 10 pages of Google search results, one can not now be sure he will be able to surf the best sites under his search category and locate the information he wants before he finally gets bored and frustrated. More often than not, the best sites that offers the best information are buried deep in Google search page results.

One of my favorite car review site which I recommend to friends is The Car Connection. The site has a Page Rank of 5  and a 17,560 Alexa ranking  - yet, if you Google for 'new cars' the site is nowhere to be found. My EC Contest Winners!

Here now are the winners of my EC blog contest! They were chosen using the random list generator at random.org. I initially prepared a list of the participants ( one for those who did a blog review and another for those who posted the contest badge in their sites and the top commenters of our contest sponsors for the month of June). Each participant was listed 10x (10 entries). I hit the randomize button 3x and the one at the top of the list (the third time the list was randomized was declared the winner.

For the blog advertiser/top commenter category, the winner is Melissa of Melissa's Garage Sale - The top commenter of one of our sponsors Femme Power. She will recieve 10,000 EC credits from Trader's Hub. Melissa hails from North Florida and is an active blogger . My Entrecard Contest Officically Ended - Contest Winners To Be Announced Later

My "Review My Site" Entrecard contest officially ended last June 30, 2009. Although, it fell short of my expectations, it was still a success in terms of link building and networking with other bloggers.

I am now currently consulting with the other contest sponsors to include their top 'commenters' in the raffled off prizes. We shall be announcing the winners in the different categories by tommorow after all the inputs have been submitted.
